The Lodge at Camp Espanola is nestled beneath large ebony trees and is always clean and comfortable. We have an authentic old world feel in a tropical setting.

Lake Espanola, located in Tamaulipas, Mexico, is approximately 6,500 acres of the best Black Bass fishing anywhere. The Lake is approximately 90 miles North of Tampico, in Northern Mexico. The Lakes smaller size makes the fishing only 5 minutes away, so you can have your time at sun up, and at sundown. Espanola is 15 miles inland from the gulf of Mexico and Surrounded by the Sierra Tamaulipas Mountains. There are lots of trees and underground structure in the lake, with several feeder creeks. The deeper areas of the lake are around 65 feet, and the lake is well protected from North winds.
